EMS-CHEMIE AG enjoys new future with AMT-LION
EMS-CHEMIE AG, Switzerland, has successfully moved into production with their new open platform after a migration from a Unisys 2200 mainframe, enabled by Asysco Migration Technology.
The EMS Group, headquartered in Domat/Ems, is a leading chemical manufacturer, with business units in Performance Polymers and Fine Chemicals/Engineering. Their worldwide activity is supported by more than 2200 employees in more than 30 subsidiaries.
They had chosen Asysco as their business partner for a complete migration of their complex mainframe systems that cover vital areas of their business like production planning, supply chain management, procurement, customer management, invoicing, and numerous calculations and reports for their daily and month results.
Asysco had offered their unique and automated Asysco Migration Technology (AMT) for this strategic project. Now, after the successful and smooth go live, EMS-CHEMIE AG is looking forward to harvesting the benefits of the open and flexible AMT-LION environment, delivering more value to their business users in a more efficient way.
Last but not least, the new IT landscape has become far less expensive from a TCO point of view.
