
Jaap van Barneveld is Chief Executive Officer at Asysco. Besides the overall management, he is especially responsible for organization and finance. He joined Asysco in December 2010. His background is in banking, accountancy and venture capital. In 2001 Jaap was one of the founders of Newion Investments a successful venture capital fund focused on fast growing ICT companies. Besides being one of the managing partners of this fund, Jaap has occupied or is still occupying positions on various Non Executive Boards almost all ICT companies like Datell, Minihouse The customs company and Wisdom TMLC.
Herman is responsible for Asysco's global sales, marketing and business development function. Prior to Joining Asysco, Herman was sales responsible for Hewlett Packard’s platform transformation business in EMEA which included HP’s Mainframe Alternative Programme. In addition, Herman had various sales, sales management and project management roles in Oracle and Logica. Herman has a degree in computer sciences.
Romke Wijmenga is Chief Technology Officer at Asysco. He is responsible for Asysco’s long-term research strategy and for developing the company’s product roadmap. Wijmenga joined Asysco after graduating in information technology in 1988. His main interest and expertise have always been in the world of mainframes. Since the mid-nineties, Wijmenga has managed numerous migration projects for customers worldwide who want to move their Unisys mainframe applications to the Wintel platform.
Jayson Goldman is the Managing Director of the North American division of Asysco. He is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of Asysco Inc., a subsidiary of Asysco BV. Goldman graduated with dual degrees in Theatre and Computer Science and did his graduate studies in Leadership and Management. Before joining Asysco in 2007, he held lead technical and junior executive positions with institutions such as Protective Life Corp. and Compass Bancshares Inc. Goldman previously served Asysco in the position of Manager Services and Support - North America.
Bernd Sakulski is responsible for Asysco's sales world wide. That includes managing the global sales and channel team, as well as positioning Asysco Migration Technology (AMT) as the unique solution for mainframe users. Before joining Asysco, in May 2005, he held various positions at Altia, Vanderlande Logistics, Oracle EMEA, and British Petroleum International. Early in his career, he also worked as a trainer for software development on IBM mainframes at Control Data Institute. He studied Computer Science and Translation & Interpretation and has a degree in Mainframe Programming.
Rob Lawrence is responsible for the delivery of the Global Project Portfolio at Asysco. He joined the company in June 2009. Rob studied in the UK at Filton Technical College for a BTEC in Computer Science. Rob started his career in the Unisys A-Series Mainframe arena. Rob has held a number of Technical and Operational Management roles in the UK Financial Services and Banking sector over the last 20 years.
Geert Zanting is Chief Financial Officer of Asysco. He joined the company in January 2007. Zanting graduated as an Accounting-Administration Consultant and has held financial positions at several companies including Meeuwsen ten Hoopen & Co Accountants Gaswacht Zwolle and Newion Investments Management B.V., an independent venture capital company that manages various funds.
