Who is Asysco?
ASYSCO is an innovative, high technology, global software organization with US headquarters based in Tallahassee,FL. ASYSCO has developed a highly automated conversion process that removes the need for large pools of labor to perform mainframe migrations. ASYSCO software facilitates the migration of mainframe systems to a choice of development languages including c# and VB.Net, residing on a multi-tier Windows platform with a MS SQL server or Oracle database back-end.

Who Are We Looking For?
We are looking for fulltime IT Services and Support Consultants to provide onsite and remote technical services to new and existing customers. These individuals will be responsible for facilitating the initial migrations, version upgrades, customizations, technical support and training of our customers. The onsite component of the Technical Services Consultant position can require up to 50% travel.
Salaries for these positions range from $50K to 85K per year, based on education and experience. Benefits package including Vacation, Sick Leave, Health and Dental provided.
Description
Experience & Education
Required:
Degree in Computer Science or related field such as CIS or MIS;
*Equivalent certifications or work experience acceptable
Excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills;
Five years experience in Systems Analysis, Systems Administration and/or Systems Integration
Willingness and ability to travel up to 50%, including domestic and international;
Experience with Visual Studio 2005/2008, VB.NET, or C #;
Experience with relational databases (MS SQL, Oracle, and/or DB2);
Preferred:
Experience with Windows Scripting Files or Visual Basic Scripting;
Basic understanding of networking;
Some basic Mainframe knowledge;
Experience participating in large, complex, multi-function information technology projects;
History of delivering quality service and satisfaction to internal and external customers;
Ability to work with little or no supervision or to effectively collaborate with geographically distributed teams; and,
Ability to demonstrate sensitivity to cultural differences and to be comfortable with diversity in the workplace
Please Note:
These positions are appropriate to individuals with experience in Technical Support, Systems Analysis or Systems Integration, ideally with a strong background in programming languages as well.
This is not a software developer or programmer position.
This is not a SQL DBA position.
This is not a Network Administrator position.
